It’s That Time of Year Again

December 25, 2010

If you haven’t seen this yet – check out the little video we created for all our friends this year!  It was a really fun process from beginning to end; brainstorming the concept, planning it all out, filming, and production – a testament to our teamwork and the talent of everyone in the office!

Holiday Dinner

December 20, 2010

Last week, we were able to take some time and have a nice dinner out together for the holidays.  The selected location was the new Fork and Barrel close by to the studio.  As you may be able to tell from the images, the place is entirely candle-lit – such a great atmosphere!  It was great to spend some time together, thinking over the past year, giving and receiving gifts, and enjoying the company.  We highly recommend the restaurant – the food is fresh and the beer list amazing.

East Falls Presbyterian Website

November 15, 2010

The East Falls Presbyterian Church is very involved in the local community and approached us to help them reach their community online. We previously worked with them to develop their e-newsletter template they send out on a monthly basis. For the site, we focused on improving the usability along with an updated look that more accurately represents the face of their congregation. Other site improvements include: an updated events calendar, photo gallery, and a content management system.

PSPA Website

October 27, 2010

The Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants is a professional organization representing Physician Assistants throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Their website is an online resource with general information about the field, legislative regulations, and a career aid for their members and PAs across the state. We were challenged with reorganizing the entire site from the ground up to deliver a more consistent design and easy to navigate site. The new site includes member registration, e-commerce, and a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) along with the logo we re-designed. We were able to launch the new site in time for their annual conference – celebrating 35 years. Congratulations PSPA!

SUGOI Retail Display Concepts

October 15, 2010

We teamed up with Scott Berry [from Rightline Industries] to provide concepts for a system of branded display units for SUGOI.  The goal was to build a stronger in-store presence for the brand’s key retail locations. The fixtures needed to be flexible with the ability to display all of SUGOI’s products, as well as have the ability to be configured for different floor spaces. We provided early concepts for a total of 9 unique display fixtures along with concepts for a variety of custom merchandizing accessories.

PSPA Logo Re-Design

September 25, 2010

The Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants is a professional organization representing Physician Assistants throughout the state of Pennsylvania. They were looking to update their identity with a new logo that would more accurately represent their organization. The new logo was turned into more of an official seal with visual elements that referenced the medical field and the state of Pennsylvania.  We are also excited to be working with them to re-design their website!

REWORK – A Fresh Take on Business

August 25, 2010

Kyle recently picked up this great resource and we have been taking turns reading through it. REWORK is a book recently written by the guys over at 37signals. These guys provide great web-based applications to help your business run smoothly (we use and definitely recommend Basecamp!) and decided to write a book describing their rather blunt perspective on good business practices.

With chapter titles like Learning from mistakes is overrated, Meetings are toxic, and ASAP is poison – generally excepted business practices are called out and challenged to be REWORKed. We definitely recommend picking up this light read – it will give you a few things to consider!
