I Break for Cake

January 28, 2011

What do cake, felt masks, Guinness, and a tri-five prototype have in common?  These items all showed up at our latest birthday celebration!  Two-thirds of our studio has birthdays in December and January, so we decided to do a combined celebration for them.  The festivities landed on a pretty busy day, but we made it a priority to ‘break for cake’ and open a few lovingly crafted presents.  Below you will see said presents being worn and/or demonstrated.  You may recognize our version of Skippy masks inspired from our latest website launch [see referenced project here] and the prototype being demonstrated is the latest humid studio brainchild.  The infamous [or soon to be] ‘tri-five’ – it’s better than a high five.  Even further below is the real reason we were celebrating, Guinness cake.  Yes, Guinness IN the chocolate cake, notice the resemblance between a slice of cake and a pint o’ the Irish.
So many things to celebrate – Happy Birthday Linda, Kyle, Josh, and James Cory!
