Community Bikes and Boards Website

June 27, 2011

Community Bikes and Boards is a fantastic bike shop that just opened up in downtown Philadelphia.  As the name suggests, they are really focused on the community and have lots of discounts and activities set up for kids and adults alike.  We designed an informative site that runs down the basics of the shop with a punch of attitude.

Temple University Trade Show Materials

June 23, 2011

Temple University’s Institue for Survey Research is “one of the oldest and most prestigious academic survey research centers in the U.S.”.  They recently asked us to design some trade show materials for them. From a table brochure to a large display sign as a backdrop to their table, we gave them a cohesive package to explain what their area of the University is all about.

Metro Dash Race Posters and Business Cards

June 20, 2011

To go along with all the day-of race materials we designed for the Metro Dash 2011 race circuit, we also designed these posters to promote each race in the different cities the race was going to be held in.  The poster lays out the entire course with a short description of each obstacle the participants have to go through.  Along with the posters, we also designed Sean some new business cards with the Metro Dash cement smashing look and feel.

Going the Extra Mile

June 16, 2011

How far would you go for a client? Would you jump off a 6 foot drop on a mountain bike? We would.

When the guys from Transition Bikes told us they were doing their East Coast tour, we had no choice but to pack up our gear and hit the road. After a couple of Red Bulls and 4 solid hours or driving, it was somehow 2 AM and we were in Connecticut. The next morning, we joined up with Kyle, Kevin, Cam and the crew at Cutting Edge Bike Shop for a quick tour of their shop and a full day of riding.

Shuttle runs to the top of the hill were handled by Josh Gee from Masterlink Rides and his off-road, blacked-out school bus. The hand built trails were mind blowing and filled with unique stunts, drops, and enough gap jumps to put our skills to the test. The Transition crew hit everything in style, inspiring us to step up and push our own limits on a bike.

Exhausted and dirty, we wrapped up the day by grabbing a late dinner with Transition. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up, talk business, and reflect on the sweet day of riding that was still fresh in our minds. We finished things up around 11pm and charged back to Philadelphia.

At humid we don’t take the easy way out. Our relationships with our clients are extremely important and if it means driving all night and then stepping out of our comfort zone, we’re all for it. To truly know each client in their own unique way you have to live and breath what they do. This helps us not only in understanding their business, products, or services, but really getting to know the people driving it all. We are fortunate enough to work with talented and passionate people, and take pride in going the extra mile to provide them with the best creative services that we have to offer.

We are stoked to be working with Kevin and Kyle from Transition again, and can’t wait to see what they throw at us next. To check out their sweet line up of bikes, go to their website: www.transitionbikes.com

PA Ride for Kids

June 9, 2011

On June 12, Todd Parker of TP2 Coaching will be teaming up with Mitch Lesack for a 24 hour charity ride across Pennsylvania. All proceeds from the ride will benefit The Beyond Faces Foundation, an organization that provides children with facial reconstruction surgery. We worked with Todd and Mitch to develop a promotional poster and get the event online. Documentary filmmaker Karl Weygandt will be filming the event and will be including it as part of his feature film about The Beyond Faces Foundation.

Visit the PA Ride for Kids Facebook page to donate and catch up on the latest activity.

Metro Dash Race Materials

June 9, 2011

With the 2011 race series rapidly approaching, our client, Metro Dash, asked us to develop some collateral materials for the events. We worked with them to create graphics for their banners, t-shirts, and medals. The second race brought them right into our backyard at the Camden waterfront. We were fortunate enough to meet up with them and watch the competitors tackle the crazy obstacles.

Check out the other projects we’ve done with MetroDash as well:
Event Posters, an Interactive Map, and Virtual Marketing

PMBA Rally in the Valley

June 7, 2011

This year we had the chance to help the Philadelphia Mountain Biking Association get the word out about their 5th Annual premier fund raising event: “The Rally in the Valley”. We worked with them to craft a logo, t-shirts, flyers, and posters for the event that were consistent with the clean feel of the PMBA brand we had previously established for the club. Feeling clean was one thing we were not after getting caught in a huge storm toward the end of the event.

Despite the rain, PMBA had over 150 people come out for the Rally and raised over $3000 for trail work and mountain bike advocacy in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. We’re glad to have been a part of it!
